Unfortunately, Salt singularly fails to accomplish that particular mission, squandering a solid premise with a series of increasingly ludicrous plot developments and failing to make its central character either an iconic screen presence or a recognisable human being. Still, if the idea of watching Jolie kick a bunch of dudes' asses for 100 minutes sounds enticing, then Salt delivers Salt movie. But unhappily to go along with the virtues are major flaws Salt movie. Wimmer's dialogue ranges from pedestrian to awful, with some downright howlers, and the illogic of much of the action is enormous Salt movie. Some of the effects have a rather cheesy look. And apart from Jolie and Olbrychski, the cast is pretty much wasted in rote roles; even the usually reliable Ejiofor can do nothing with his Salt movie. When he bailed, and the star of Lara Croft took his place, Phillip (Rabbit-Proof Fence, The Quiet American) Noyce's film was meant to confirm Angelina Jolie's status as the most kick-ass, A-list actress of her generation, one who could marry cool-as-ice sex appeal to ball-busting actionism Salt movie.
